The 25th
Anniversary album from Great Britain's internationally acclaimed Celtic
band extraordinaire. Recorded mostly in the summer of 1991, this
exquisite collection of the Boy's favorites moves from heart-rending
ballads of lost love and the loneliness of the immigrant's life to
delightful reels, jigs and polkas which will transport the listener to
those famed hills of the Emerald Isle. Excellent performances on the
fiddle, flute, and uillean pipes complemented well by fine playing on
mandolin, guitar, piano, accordion, harmonica, cittern, whistles and
concertina, with Cathal and Christy's voices adding a sweet blend of
harmonies. Altogether a fine addition to any music lover's collection.
