Outstanding equipment, exceptional engineers, fantastic woodland setting, no wonder the small but mighty Sage Arts studio is a recording destination for musicians around the world.

Our studio specializes in natural, pure acoustic sound in a range of genres including folk, bluegrass, jazz, blues and Celtic.

Lighten Up

The grand piano in the Sage Arts studio is no ordinary instrument. It represents the state of the arts in the finest tradition of hand-fit instrument making. The studio piano, built in 1982, is a nine-foot Steinway, the biggest and longest that they make. While the basic Steinway design is a proven success, Ed McMorrow has developed a way to improve upon it... continued on page 3
